Dear Fifth Grade Parents,
We are already halfway through the third quarter. Time continues to fly by here in the fifth grade, but we still have lots of work to do!
This month in math we are focusing on multiplying and dividing fractions. We also will start doing state test practice/prep. Please remind students to show all their work! In science, we just started unit 4 in Discovery Ed. Our focus is on gravity. In religion, we are finishing or healing sacraments and moving on to service sacraments.
In addition to all the hard work, we must remember that March is also the beginning of the season of Lent. Ash Wednesday was March 2. Students received their ashes in school. Please remind your student to live as Jesus wants us to and treat others with respect, especially during this special time.
